50 Miles on the SWCP: Erme to Noss Mayo – 20/06/2020

Now that I am back on that Monday to Friday working life grind the weekends have become a thing of beauty again. Two days of complete freedom for us to spend how we like, and Liam and I the thing we love to do most is to get outside and explore the beautiful areas we are so lucky to be surrounded by. After two weekends of dreary wet weather we finally had a clear day where we could get back out there. We decided to spend the day completing the next stretch of the South West Coastal Path, 9.8 miles from Erme Estuary to Noss Mayo.

Death From Above: Yarak Birds of Prey Experience – 25/05/2019

My Valentineโ€™s Day gift from Emily was a Falconry Experience at Yarak Birds of Prey Centre in Cullompton, Devon.ย  Such is the popularity of the place that we had to wait until this past Bank Holiday Weekend for an available slot โ€“ always a good sign for experiences like these. Arriving for 10am we pre-ordered our lunch before walking around the aviaries and seeing the many birds kept at the centre through rescue and hunting / falconry programs. From owls to hawks to eagles, this place had it all, all in immaculate and spacious homes.
